Naarden the Art Fair
'

NAARDEN' has grown into one of the most important art fairs in the Netherlands over the past 25 years. Every year, 'NAARDEN' attracts a nice audience at the end of January, who come in large numbers to the art & antiques fair in the Grote Kerk. The first edition of NAARDEN the Art fair started in January 1998 under the name ART & ANTIQUES WEEKEND NAARDEN. This first small 3-day art & antiques fair in the Grote Kerk with about 30 exhibitors consisted mainly of antique dealers. Now, a quarter of a century later, NAARDEN the Art fair has grown into one of the most important and atmospheric art fairs in the Netherlands with 65 international art dealers and galleries. In addition to the impressive Grote Kerk of Naarden, the exhibition area now consists of two stylishly decorated and heated pavilions that are directly connected to the Grote Kerk. Every year Naarden the Art Fair, which is known as a real high-level purchasing fair, attracts a nice audience from all over the Netherlands and Belgium.

NAARDEN has had a permanent place in the agenda for more than 25 years and takes place in the last full week of January (Thursday to Sunday with a PrivateView on Wednesday evening).

Registration procedure


In order to continue to guarantee the distinctive atmosphere & ambiance of Naarden the Art Fair in the long term, we, together with the participants committee, are very critical in the choice of exhibitors. Unfortunately, individual artists cannot participate in NAARDEN the Art fair, only if represented by a gallery. The quality of the offer and the overall atmosphere of the participants is also very important to us.
